The Night Market

The night market is one of my favorite projects and surprisingly this is also one level of mine where I had the least amount of bugs to fix. I believe that because I had the most fun creating this level layout in my class.

The night market is a level based in an Asian night market with a night time setting. The concept of this level is a mouse trying to escape the group of cats that are after it via the night market. The mouse (player) must not come into the sight of the cat or else it could result in a instant kill.

The level design of this project is constructed in such ways that it gives the player various abilities to step up and get on various platformer stages from the perspective of a mouse trying to escape.

Project Status: Unfinished

The San francisco Escape

The San Francisco Escape is just a creative visionary idea inspired from the famous ā€œWorld War Zā€ zombie apocalypse game and the ā€œLast Of Usā€ series of games, I like how they gave the player opportunity to explore the levels by making them open weapon crate boxes at certain locations in the level.

My idea and vision of making the player explore levels was brought out over here because I already had the opportunity to construct a big hub level starting from the Fillmore district of San Francisco to the Civic Center Bart station.

The concept of this level was the player being a police officer and he must save civilians from the zombie apocalypse and must escape San Francisco via the Bart tunnels underground. Although the level ends the game after the boss battle in the BART station because after which a small animation plays leaving the player in the questionable cliff hangar because of the hordes of zombies in the BART tunnels.

The Paris Blowout

The Paris Blowout is my first project that I took seriously and gave it my complete attention in my early years at the academy of art university. This level is also a level based on a zombie apocalypse but it takes place in Paris, France. The player must collect, learn and use weapons to use against enemies and reach certain points. The player must also parkour over buildings to reach their end goal. It has simple animation and the use of colliders to run simple commands like sound of the gun picking up and deleting enemies from the level.

Project Status: Mostly Finished
